Samarthya – Making Delhi Haat disabled friendly

Samarthaya, an NGO based out of Delhi is really doing game-changing work for Universal access in India, which is still a very unknown space in India. Anjlee Agawal, the co-founder of Samarthya has worked on making Dilli Haat to be the India’s first disabled-friendly tourist destination.

With everything from ramps to toilets made to standardized specifications, it is today a case study for universal access.

Besides that, she is also involved in promoting the low-floor buses on DTC and making DMRC (Delhi Metro) making accessible.

Currently she is advising BMRC (Bangalore Metro) to making Bangalore Metro to be Accessible.
